Welsh Team Selection

Every year there is the British Team Championship where regions of the UK get to compete in a Team tournament.
The selection criteria was different in each age category. For the cadet/junior team (judoka aged 15-21) the selection was based on the GB ranking list. Ben Hughes has been selected to represent Wales in this team at u60kg.
For the minors/precadet team the selection was via fight offs at the national dojo. Cedric Davies (u42kg), Tomas Roberts (u55kg) and Charlie O’Brien (o60kg) were selected to represent Wales in this team.
The British Team Championship will take place on the 2nd July 2022 at Walsall University Campus. Good luck boys 🏴
