We took a small team to the Irfon Judo Club training day in Brecon leisure centre. Irfon Judo, run by Sensei Richard Jones is renowned for producing top quality judoka including Olympian Natalie Powel and Commonwealth medalist Gary Cole. It was a good opportunity for our squad to train with players from other clubs and experience different coaching styles.
Gareth and I helped coach some of the sessions, a big highlight for us was having Olypian Georgina Bevan coach our red belts on Seoi nage. 🤩
Lots of Randori and fun was had by all at this community feel event.
