We held our first Grading Festival at our Dunvant Dojo for our junior judoka. This was a fantastic display of judo from everyone.
Our philosophy around gradings is to allow ever judoka the opportunity to showcase their abilities.
Although we presented the certificates and belts at our festival, we continually monitor our judoka in class to ensure they meet the required standards. We understand that some children may make mistakes while demonstrating and they may be nervous, and that’s all part of their development. Hopefully experiences like the grading festival will aid in improving your child’s confidence.
We were very impressed with all the judoka who took to the tatami, the standard was very high and it’s a testament to all their hard work.
Well done to all our judoka and thank you to all the parents.
