Club Welfare Officer
Judo Swansea has a dedicated Club Welfare Offier in Gareth Piper. Gareth is fully quiallified and registered through the BJA and NSPCC. Our goal os to have two CWO officers, a male and female. Under teh BJA rules the lead coach cannot be the CWO officer although head coach Shaun is also fully qualified.
The CWO can be your first point of contact for any concerns, issues or general advice.
Rest assured that any conversations are strictly confidencial, our CWO can help you resolve issues or esculate as needed.
Safeguarding
A safe place for all
At Judo Swansea we take our safeguardinf responsibilities very seriously. All our coaches must complete safeguarding training and provide live enhanced DBS information to the British Judo Association.
